Annual Reconciliation
Deliverables
You’ll receive a detailed Payroll Reconciliation Report outlining:
- All underpayments and overpayments identified for the pay cycles in scope.
- Results by each individually impacted employee, ensuring full visibility and traceability.
This targeted reconciliation provides employers with clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward for resolving potential compliance risks.
Service Objective
Our Payroll Reconciliation service is designed to identify payroll compliance issues quickly and accurately.
Using Australian Payroll Association’s Digital Compliance Tool, a powerful mathematical engine capable of handling complex industrial agreement calculations and bespoke coding, we assess whether employees have been correctly paid in line with both their individual agreements and the relevant awards.
The reconciliation process pinpoints:
- Any employees who may have been underpaid.
- Individuals whose annualised salaries fall within a range requiring further review.
The Digital Compliance Tool compares recorded hours worked against actual remuneration received to ensure that employees’ pay meets or exceeds award entitlements for the pay cycle in scope.
This process examines:
- Hourly pay rates
- Overtime rates
- Penalty rates and other entitlements
- Leave and leave loading
- Shift loading
- Sleepovers, breaks, and any other monetary entitlements linked to the applicable awards
By comparing what employees should have been paid against what they were actually paid, we provide a clear and data driven view of any pay variances.
